Crystal Palace Walking Tour
The Crystal Palace Walking Tour is the easiest way to experience the wonder of Raccoon Mountain Caverns. Over 45 to 55 minutes, your guide will take you through the first quarter mile of the cave system, sharing how the caverns formed, the story of the site, and the geological details that make it so memorable.
Along the way, you will see stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, and other natural formations, including rare shield and helictite formations. Guests may also spot cave wildlife such as salamanders, bats, and the cave’s notable spider species.

Children age 3 and under are not permitted on the tour.
All children must be able to walk the tour on their own and may not be carried.
